I'm Serhat Karasungur. I was born in Kiğı, Bingöl, in 1983. I live in Bursa. I graduated from Boğaziçi University with a degree in Business Administration. I work as a program manager at the Coşkunöz Education Foundation.

My interest in photography began with discovering the Ara Güler's photographs on the covers of Yaşar Kemal's books and the photo albums in the Boğaziçi University library. My introduction to the darkroom at the Boğaziçi University Photography Club transformed photography into a passion for me. Although I've occasionally taken short breaks from photography, my camera has been a tool for 20 years, connecting with nature and exploring new places and people.

My photographs have won awards in various international and national competitions, have been exhibited in physical and virtual galleries, and have been purchased by collectors as NFTs.
